Normally this would be the spot where I'd recycle some jokes I've used ten times already and affix it to someone else's thing so it didn't really seem like I was just re-blogging it without 'adding value', but I'm in the middle of a lot of actual work, well, what passes for work where I work, and this is already a little old, so fuck it. Martin's series of fantasy books, and never thought a translation of them to the screen would be ... so dang good. But it is, and the show has branched into the mainstream awareness more than I anticipated. It's not uncommon for a such a meme to show up for a popular show, but what's surprising is the comparison is embarrassingly accurate.
