Here's this thing I made with my words. Go order it at . I worked for one year for you pigs. With a lot of love.

It's called Boston's Best Dive Bars: Drinking and Diving in Beantown, and it's a humorous and poignant travelogue of my year drinking through metro Boston's dive bars, as well as a reflection on this dying breed of bars as more and more of them disappear.

Aside from about 100 reviews and accompanying photography, the book also features interviews about the state of Boston dive bars past and present from authors like
Dennis Lehane and Steve Almond, musicians like Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls and James Lynch of Dropkick Murphys, and opinions from writers from many of the city's best publications.

Boston's Best Dive Bars features opinionated reviews of one hundred of the grungiest and grittiest drinking establishments in Beantown. If you want to avoid the tourist traps listed in those "other" bar guides and find out where real Bostonians do their drinking, then this is the book for you.
