Sergeant D. from Stuff You Will Hate uncovered this gem, and rightfully points out why this video deserves, no, demands your attention. It's so dreadfully ridiculous that it goes all the way around the world, passes through China (no offense), and lands back in the bulls-eye of real talk.
My favorite part is how she contradicts herself in one awkward gaff after another, and yet still someone manage to sell both competing concepts accurately. "You wouldn't be a punk without any...with studs." Exactly. Same thing.

Also another thing "hypothetical people who don't know how to dress punk but still want to be cool so you're turning to old people on the internet like this woman, (and me), for advice" will want to keep in mind to be edgy and hip, don't dress in bright colors, because kids definitely aren't doing that now.

There are two things I never get sick of: “inane statement of fact” jokes in which the humor comes from saying blindingly obvious things in an annoying way, and when some random idiot inadvertently puts an entire subculture on blast simply by describing it accurately (much to the chagrin of the even bigger idiots who are part of the subculture). And when you put the two together??? SOLID GOLD!
For example, these videos in which a couple idiotic white women describe how to dress “punk.” It’s totally brilliant because while she has clearly gone full retard and has no idea how punks actually dress or what punk is, she is 1000000% correct at the same time. My favorite quotes:
- “You’re gonna wear something where you just don’t care what anybody thinks of you. That’s punk.”
- “You’re not punk without spikes”
- “Most punks want to look like they don’t have a lot of money”
- “Punk is anything normal people wouldn’t do”
