We're all going to die

via

Everyone was all excited about this new sea-monster that washed up on shore in New York during the hurricane, and perhaps rightfully so. What is that dude doing? I don't like that dude.

But I'm more interested in the bird to be honest. Look at that thing. Just standing there at attention. Biding his time. Considering his angle of attack. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. That bird is standing over all of our shoulders right now.

denuded racoon, this has been debunked like 100 times before.

Seems a little giant to be a raccoon. But whatever, you can't argue that that bird isn't the real monster here. Dude is freaking me out.

Bloated bear cub.

This is really sad. Definately a bear. Hopefully not a polar bear. :( We are seriously killing ourselves.

What is really sad? Life in general?

It definitely looks like a wookie to me. At least the gull ain't circling some dirty tampon. I saw that this summer at the beach. What ever happened to eating fish and alka seltzer?

i am trying to figure out what happens if that actually is a monster. okay, so its a monster. it has been years since this image/rumor first started in Montauk, and nothing in montauk has changed except my favorite jelly beans aren't as good anymore. is that the monsters fault? maybe it is.

That's a good question, but guess what? Monsters DO EXIST, as we've pointed out here a few times:

An alligator is a monster. A shark and a whale are monsters. A wolf is basically a monster, right? We're just inured to their predictable monster-hood.
