A recent episode of “My Strange Addiction” on TLC, a show I've never watched on a network I wouldn't be able to find without a GPS, featured a woman named Tamara who is addicted to her pillow, which she hasn't washed in 30 years, named Boo. Never washed? More like Poo, right? Haha, good one. Maybe not though.
"It's got some years on it," she says. "It's got some miles on it. It might be a little dirty, but it's not stinky."
A lesser comedic talent than myself might not just let that quote sit there and earn its own keep.
Video below. Jezebel (via ) clues us in:
Tamara's friends, family, and fiancé are all concerned about her attachment to her pillow, and say that it's ruining her relationships with them. She carries the pillow everywhere—to the gym, on long walks, the hair salon, and even puts it in the baby seat of her shopping cart at the grocery store. Her "addiction" to her pillow deepened when she was molested at the age of 7, and instead of going to therapy to deal with those wounds, she has found comfort in Boo. Her fiancé found it such an issue that the couple called off their engagement because of the pillow. By the end of the episode, she was still very much attached to Boo, although working on her relationship with her fiancé.
Weird stuff. Hey, they should put me on that show. You know what my strange addictions are? Cigarettes. And drugs. And porn. And alcohol. And the attention of strangers on the internet.

That is strange. But the last 7 sentences of your post cracked me up. :) So I'll feed your last addiction and leave a comment on your blog.
Fulfillment is at hand!
Woh. This post is loaded with typos. I AM A LOSER.
Sup Boo!
Is she saying boo or Boo-urns?
Ughh that show is addicting, how about that. I do watch a lot of TLC so I'm constantly seeing clips of new episodes. Woman eats drywall, man loves pulling hair out of bathtub drains, woman eats rocks...and these are Americans. I can't imagine other countries, they definitely have even weirder/stranger addictions. But when that show premieres, I'm watching it.
