These pictures are haunting me. Something so sad and beautiful at once about them. Only thing more tragic than this I've seen in a while are the comments on the NY Post I piece took them from. (Any everything about the NY Post in general). Like this one from playful rogue : "uggg those shoes don't go with that dress at all."

Sad, but it'd be sadder if she was ugly.
She is trying to retain what little dignity she has left after being stood up. It seems to be an honour thing.
Also, the exterior of that building should be redone...stucco?
I don't think that's stucco.
No, stucco is what I propose...cheap and efficient. The actual material looks like it belongs in some 1970s suburban bathroom.
