Drinking Dr Pepper 10 is racist against women, gives you a giant dick

Dr. Pepper 10, a new soft drink that apparently exists, is testing out a new marketing strategy this month. "Bitches aint shit," reads the new slogan from the Dr Pepper Snapple Group. Basically.

The new "macho ad campaign" proclaims "It's not for women" ass this AP report point out

"The soft drink was developed after the company's research found that men shy away from diet drinks that aren't perceived as 'manly' enough."

Unlike most other diet soft drinks, Dr Pepper 10 has calories shooting out of its giant soda dick. Ten calories to be exact. And sugar too, which is the manliest sweetener men like to drink, besides vagina juice.

To really hammer the difference home, the can fucks you up with its badass "gunmetal grey packaging with silver bullets" instead of those pussy-ass "dainty tan bubbles."

In case that wasn't in your beard-face enough, the commercials literally prohibit women from purchasing, enjoying, or talking about the beverage, if my reading here is correct.

For instance, there's a Dr Pepper Ten Facebook page for men only. And TV commercials are heavy on the machismo, including one spot that shows muscular men in the jungle battling snakes and bad guys and appear to shoot lasers at each other.
"The lasers and snakes are phalli," is the next sentence I would have written.

"Hey ladies. Enjoying the film? Of course not. Because this is our movie and this is our soda," a man says as he attempts to pour the soda into a glass during a bumpy ATV ride. "You can keep the romantic comedies and lady drinks. We're good."

No ladies allowed on this fun ride, apparently. Quick question. Why does literally everything in the world that tries its hardest to be "manly" read as homoerotic? Is that what the real, top-secret homosexual agenda has wrought in our culture? Look at homeboy driving the action-hero Jeep in the commercial. Tell me he hasn't parked that thing outside a dog-friendly art gallery on multiple occasions.

A Facebook page for the drink contains an application that allows it to exclude women from viewing content, which includes games and videos aimed at being "manly." For instance, there's a shooting gallery where you shoot things like high heels and lipstick, for example. There is also a "man quiz" with questions on activities like fishing and hunting.
First of all, awesome sentence, AP. Secondly, shooting lipstick and high heels? With a gun? Hrm, that seems a little on the nose doesn't it, but alright. I suppose there's nothing potentially misogynist about that. Besides the shooting lipstick and high heels with a gun part. And every other part.

And women? Jim Trebilcock, executive vice president of marketing for Dr Pepper, said he's not worried that they'll be offended by the campaign. The drink and marketing were tested in six different markets across the country before being rolled out nationally, and women weren't offended, he said. In fact, about 40% of people who have tried the soda so far are women.
"Women get the joke," he said. "'Is this really for men or really for women?' is a way to start the conversation that can spread and get people engaged in the product."

Haha, yeah, good luck getting people to engage with your product through conversation... wait. Shit, I just fell for their whole entire marketing strategy didn't I? Goddamit.

As a man who doesn't respect women, I love it.

So is this effecive marketing because it got me to think and talk about the product, despite the fact that I will never ever in my life, and have never, purchased Dr Pepper?

"10 has calories shooting out of its giant soda dick" love that. Hey, where's the FB page just for men? Also, the ad agency who did this are idiots...

You love giant soda dicks?

I looked for the FB page for men for like 5 seconds and got tired, so I gave up.

Are they idiots though? I mean, here we are knowing about their product whereas before we didn't... hard to say.

If you think about it, being really into girls isn't really that manly.
