"Did a 'Sea Monster' Wash Up on a South Carolina Coast?" asks this headline from KSEE 24 news (via Gawker).
Residents in a South Carolina coastal town believe they are dealing with a whole different kind of sea monster after an alarmingly large and strange-looking body of some kind of aquatic creature washed up on the coastal state's Folly Beach.
No, say experts. It's just a big sturgeon. Fuck you, says me. HOW IS THAT NOT A MONSTER? Just because we've heard of it doesn't mean it's not also a monster.
As you may remember, verifying the existence of monsters is something of a recurring theme here on PTSOTL. I'm like the Van Helsing/Captain Ahab of the internet, only with bigger muscles.
I know I've said this on here before over and over, but the ocean is disgusting. Just filled with millions of hellish monsters eating each other nonstop all day and night who'd suck the steak meat right out of your ass bones in a second if you ever gave them the chance.
The simple lesson here: never go in the water. Probably don't go anywhere just to be safe.
