Don't really hate anything today, so might as well talk about music that doesn't suck. Too much anyway. Still absolutely in love with the video for "Get Away" by Yuck, which I posted about here a while back, but they've got a brand new video out this week for "Shook Down" which is a lot more mellow, but still pokes my 90s brain the happy spot when the guitar line echoes the chorus melody at like 2:58.
New Skrillex video for "Rock n Roll (Will Take You to the Mountain)" dropped this week too. Pretty sure my electronic heads would prefer that I hated this, but it's pretty undeniably fun. Brostep4life.
As I've mentioned a million times on here, if you don't love Robyn you are heartless fucking cunt and you should rethink all the decisions you've made up until now that have led you to this point. Newish video with Rye Rye is ok, but nothing too special.
Went to see Marina and the Diamonds last night. I love her to death, but don't think I enjoyed it as much as last time. Because I saw her last time. Just wanted to point that out. Last time was always better wasn't it? Everyone knows that.
Saw my epic bro-pieces The Sheila Divine play at the WFNX Clambake the other night. Still probably my favorite Boston band ever. Their new stuff is great, but too many of you probably don't even know them at all, so check out this old classic.
