Green Goblin shown here doing an eerily accurate impression of me when I heard this news |
Jokes about SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark are played by now, but I think it's important that we always keep in mind, so future generations will never forget, that at some point someone, somewhere in the world, thought to themselves "You know what would make Spider-Man better? If he sang Broadway rock." There's a lesson in there for our hypothetical children. I'm not sure what it is, but it's in there. Also the idea of "turning off" the dark, which I'm assuming has something to do with fighting racism. Also the fact that Spider-Man is actually spelled that way. Spiderman just seems better from a design standpoint, no? SpiderMan. Spider Man.
Anyway, because I love you guys, but don't really actually like you, I wanted to let you know you can listen to the music from the forthcoming SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark soundtrack today streaming at MSN. There's a lesson to be learned there as well. How bad can it be anyway. Bono has been on quite a tear these past twenty years.

Is this from the musical because it really should be if it's not |

Spider-Man is the correct spelling.
It's the only way that works!

BTW, ask my mom to say Spider-Man for you sometime.
She makes him sound like an old Jew. All rushed together:
"Spiderm'n, you know that Abe Spiderm'n talking toy I got you for your birthday? Spiderm'n always reminds me of you!" She's adorable.
Haha. Why can't you be more like your cousin Abe Spiderm'n. Got a successful arachnid business in Teaneck.
Spiderman was the original name, but somebody decided that the Superman people would sue because it looked so similar, so they changed to Spider-Man
Should've known there was a lawyer behind it.
Leave it to the Brits to steal this idea, but make it Batm'n!
