In the fantasy football circles I run in, which is pretty rarified company, when a guy stops showing up to update his team we say he's running a ghost ship. Kind of applies to PTSOTL the last day or two, although I guess it's more accurately called a ghost blog.

What do you think the best definition of a ghost blog is? A blog about ghosts? Or is it a blog that gets tons of unique ghost impressions every day? Or, or, or maybe it's like an actual ghost floating around in the corner or whatever but you can post awesome stories about your boring life on its ghost skin? Hard to say.

Speaking of ghosts, this is fucked up. Here's a headline so gruesome you almost don't even want to read it just in case any of it gets on you. 

"Power Saw Used In Plymouth Murder-Suicide." 

Alternate headline: YIKES. What's the deal with this tragedy, CBS?

Officers were called to a home on Farmhurst Road around 10 p.m. for a well-being check.

When they arrived, they saw a man sitting in the family room. The man then picked up a power circular saw and cut one of his legs.

He was rushed to the hospital where he died.

As officers searched the home they also found a dead woman in a bed and two dead dogs.  It’s not clear yet how they died.  The woman had been dead for several days, according to investigators.

Welp, not gonna get any worse than that today, so might as well close up the shop for the night. This happened in Plymouth, next door to where I grew up. That could have been me or someone I know oh my god you guys.

Oh wait, there's this line from the story: "The owner of the home Tim Moll told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 the couple was from Vermont and was behind on their rent."

Fucking landlords, am I right?

"Your tenant just butchered a woman and cut his own leg off with a power saw."

"Yeah, but what about my $400?"

The comments are pretty good too. This first one is obviously from a fucking asshole conservative, but it may well be the first instance of a rightwinger saying anything even remotely funny in history, and that includes the entire careers of Dennis Miller and PJ O'Rourke. Oh no I did not. Someone call in the burn unit up in here, cause dudes are getting roasted.

Blame the power saw. There will be blood in the streets without new saw control laws. Those inanimate objects are jumping up and randomly killing people. Something has to be done. Save the children….
