You know, yesterday I didn't have the best day at work. We had to file these same reports last month, and you always know that when the reports show up in your office, you've just got to go out there and work hard all day. Every year around this time, at the end of the quarter it's gut check time, you know? I came here to work today. You just show up at 9 am every day and work for 9 to 10 hours, minus the 20 minutes allotted for lunch.
What you do is you just look at the earnings statements for the quarter, and you analyze them one report at a time. I'm just here to work hard for the company, you know? And the investors, they've had a lot of faith in us all year, and you just go out there and try to give it your best for them. Give a little something back. It's time to step up, you know? Like the assistant vice president of sales always says, it's an office wide effort. It takes focus, and he knows what it takes to increase sales marginally by the end of the year.
We're only as good as our 1036th man. So, you just step up to the plate and you get in the zone. I take my hat off to the other companies, they're tough, and they gave us a run in terms of market share this quarter. But at the end of the day you just keep trying to get better, keep improving, working on the fundamentals of salesmanship just like you learn in B school, and everything is going to fall into place. You give 110%, and just, you know, go out there.
Otherwise, at the end of the day, you're going home.
